Hello guys.
How are you all doing?
I was just wondering what VCAL is and how it can help in VCE?
Does it help if I want to get into medicine and how?

Hey there!
VCAL is the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning, which is a different High School certificate to VCE.
It's a hands-on option for years 11&12 and covers practical/industry skills and basic literacy and number skills.
This booklet probably explains it better than myself.
I'm unsure how it can help for getting into med. :)

(We had 3 VCE classes/formgroups and 2 VCAL at my school. )
Some students used VCAL as an opportunity to develop vocational skills,  complete projects etc and some used it to slack off and not do much. 

As Insanipi said, it's a VCE alternative. It won't help you in VCE & I would be very surprised if it helps you with med somehow.

Good idea to ask though :)
