Same for my year 12's but for my sister's year 12's its optional (except for Physics)...most people don't end up using checkpoints when they have bought it (except for me...)

I only really used my Checkpoints when I was bored... I agree that you're better off buying Neap, A+ notes... They are REALLY helpful. :)

There are review questions and a few exam tips but as far as I know the review questions and exam tips rarely change, especially for biology which hasn't undergone radical changes for many years now.

But even for the review questions, I would keep one eye on the study design because some of them go off a little bit, most are useful.

alrites so you reckon biology 2008 would be way off compared to the new one, or would it be similar in many areas

It ought to be the exact same apart from that it will have the 2008 papers

khali

u werido
what's it to u if sum1 is good looking or not...

The new covers are ugly anyway though. BURN THEM.
he he.....although checkpoints have questions from 1999 or 1998 which are relevant to the course.
using checkpoints to study for psych was terrible. i did the unit 4 one ...then when it came to do the past VCAA exams in TIMED conditions....it didnt work out cos' i already knew almost all the answers...which i didnt do under timed conditions...so that was a waste!
i bought the specialist checkpoints...whats up with the 2 ppl on the front?....there not even good looking...not that that is relevant

Hey so many people think that checkpoints is just certain questions extracted from the biology past exams.. but is this true?, i've asked this in the other thread but 2 members had said it was certain questions but they 'think'..

CONFIRM PLEASE?

You can just get the 2008 Checkpoints, which will make no difference with the 2009 checkpoints, as long as you are willing to download VCAA 2008 exam paper (full) because thats what 2009 checkpts have.

yeah i have bought the 2008 checkpoints and yep i've downloaded the 2008 exam. But for past exams in the book, im afraid that there will be questions missing since many people say that checkpoints only publish certain questions. Suggest i shall download those 2000-2007 full exams?
