yer i just finished learning about aerobic cellular respiration and when i got up to the "krebs cycle" or "citric acid cycle" the book had barely any info on it other than a diagram. So i have this other massive book a bit like a uni book and explains the kreb cycle in detail. So should i learn this stage of cellular respiration in detail or leave it as a brief summary the way my text book has it?

Can't you get another vce textbook? That would probably be easier. Do you have Nelson? I found it pretty much useless on anthing related to Krebs cycle/respiration/photosynthesis.

The animated diagram seems to sum it up pretty well. Probably the amount of detail needed too.
I use Nelson Biology textbook, aswell. I don't think it's very good, so I borrowed some extra texts for if I need them.

Krebs cycle notes here. That was the extent to which I learnt it, but it's unlikely they'll test you that far.
