Title: Commerce at Melbs
Post by: rkjthguakj on January 04, 2021, 10:01:21 am
Getting my ATAR was definitely a humbling experience. I didn't quite make the cut for the bachelor of commerce at Melbourne but made it for the Bachelor of Commerce at Monash. I'm still extremely set on doing the Bachelor of Commerce at Melbourne, regardless of not starting there. Would it be easier to start the Bachelor of Commerce at Monash before transferring into the same degree at Melbourne or to start the Arts degree at Melbourne first before transferring? I would say that both degrees intrigue me and I could definitely do a lot in the Arts degree but I'm more set on doing the Commerce degree.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Starting Arts at Melbourne is probably easier to transfer and you're also eligible to partake in most of the BCom experiences at Unimelb as opposed to starting at Monash.

Also funnily enough probably better job opportunities from BA at Melb vs BCom at Monash on average.

If you're thinking of doing a BCom at Monash do Law as well (although ATAR requisites might be a bit high)
