OMG WOWWOWOWOWOW
I literally laughed and cried at the same time when I saw this, that was the good stuff
In primary, everyone was super naive, and when we realised that B.I.G was G.I.B backwards we all thought we had 300IQ

But yeah just read Dumas' The Man in the Iron Mask, that was damned solid

I've just started reading Tess d'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy! Hopefully this book lives up to my expectations! ;D

I'd love to know what your thoughts were on Tess of the D'Urbervilles!

For anyone interested, I'm currently a bit over 400 pages into Les Misérables by Victor Hugo. I'll admit that the prospect of reading this was slightly daunting, considering the edition I own (Penguin Classics) is just over 1200 pages. I will say that, thus far, I am enjoying it and am glad I went with the Norman Denny translation.

I just borrowed Hegel's The Phenomenology of Spirit . Tbh I've always found understanding Hegel a bit difficult, but still keen nonetheless.

Have you tried "Essays" By Montaigne?
Seems a similar vein... :)

I have not, but I'll add it to the list! Got any other recommendations?

I identify strongly with Absurdism. I think haha. So I'd recommend The Myth of Sisyphus by Albert Camus :)

Have started reading KRudd's second volume of his autobiography. Very policy focused atm which can at times be a bit of a drag, but interesting nonetheless.

Personally, I found it very slow to start with, but I love how the story developed. It was also really heartbreaking and sad. I have many emotions about the book, but I can't seem to put any words to it aha! :)

Also currently reading Wuthering Heights and Isobel on the Way to the Corner Shop when I find a spare moment!
