There's a page in my enviro textbook about exothermic and endothermic reactions when the study design explicitly says that we don't need to know about them ::)

The amount of information the (most popular I think) psych textbook has that is explicity out of the study design is saddening.

On the other hand, VCAA did change the study design half way through last year so....

FOLLOWING YESTERDAY'S RANT

Doing the same assignment and scratching my head for hours wondering why my code part wasn't working now. Turns out stupid R wanted me to feed it the standard deviation and not the variance. -_-

A customer at work: “your potato cakes are so thick they’re disgusting. The quality of food here is unacceptable.”
Me: “I’m sorry about that. Well take the potato cakes back and give you a refund, okay?”
Customer: *dumps empty package on the counter* “I ate the potato cakes. I’m just saying I was disappointed with them and I still want a refund”.

Just a side note, there is nothing wrong with the potato cakes. And she ate them then demanded a refund. Sometimes, I hate the ‘customer is always right’ thing. Especially when they’re stealing from a local shop run by immigrants.
Thoughts are only thoughts.
They are not you. You do belong to yourself,

Sometimes there are days I wished I was a guy- formal/prom season is when this wishful thinking comes back.

Why is it ridiculously hard to find a formal dress that isn't too revealing or too long -_-

Picture this: Your english teacher assigns the class to write an essay to be handed in in a few days during the assessment period. As you have been focusing on finishing off your other assessments, you have not gotten around to doing the essay due at 9am the next morning. But it's fine - heaps of other people said they've barely done anything yet too! So you stay up super late to write out a cracking (jk really bad) response of about 1100 words and submit it first thing in the morning (so it didn't seem like you stayed up late to do it). You stroll into class the next day and you hear the dreaded words... "as only two of you hvae submitted a response and many have emailed me about an extension, I have extended the due date to Monday". Yep. This has happened to me at least 3 times with the same teacher (v scary, hence why I always do the homework on time). Annnnd to top it all of, tuesday comes and your essay is returned. See, that's why you hand it in on time! You get it back first so you have more time to fix it up! Nope, wrong. All that is written up the top is "please cut down to 1000 words".

edit: I used the wrong your, how ironic

So my Enviro teacher said he'd upload the answers to the practice SAC on Thursday night, it's now Sunday and he hasn't - our SAC is tomorrow. I emailed him about it this morning and he hasn't responded. I wish I could say I was surprised.

You might think I'm crazy even suggesting this, but this was such a good investment I made at the time and I never had to run into the problem of things being too thick to staple again tbh. (Throwback to when I was printing 60+ page lecture notes)

EXTREMELY relatable. This has happened to me so many times. The worst part is that I can't just take it home again to improve on it with the extended due date because the teacher gives the "extension speech" AFTER I've handed mine in. SMH.
