1. What year level are you in right now, and what are your subjects? (Mandatory)I'm in Year 12 as of 2019 (wow that's scary) and I am doing Math Ext 1 and 2, English Adv and Ext 1, Economics and Japanese Continuers.
2. What movie do you most passionately hate? Provide justification. (Mandatory)I really really really dislike Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. I went to see it with my friends despite the bad reviews it got, because how bad could it REALLY be? Although it provided some progression in the story and character development, there were two fundamental flaws for me:
- the misnomer title for the movie in which Grindelwald was simply established as "bad" rather than focusing too much on his crimes
- the lack in continuity across the Harry Potter franchise (but that isn't really new *cough cough*) and the information in this film contradicting the original Harry Potter timeline
I walked away disappointed at the ending, but I can give it credit for being a decent (not satisfactory) film. I don't think it was crafted as well as the first Fantastic Beasts film was though, and hence the ensuing disappointing reviews.
3. In the event of a zombie apocalypse, what would be your weapon of choice? (Mandatory). Give me a sword any day. Fencing foils won't be as effective because they're not sharp. I'm pretty sure I can swing a sword though
4. Who do you want to be as a person, what do you want to achieve? (Optional)My short term goal is to get into a good communications course, and my aim is to complete my HSC without any regrets. I'm the type of person who doesn't want to live with regrets that I could have easily avoided. Regrets are a part of life, but I want to do my best while not compromising my values, relationships, and kindness towards others. Machiavelli, I'm looking at you.
Thanks for reading, and I hope I can contribute ^^
