Course progression rule exception?

This site: http://www.undergraduates.ms.unimelb.edu.au/course_advice/umep.php says that umep kids can choose one of three level 2 options to do in first year. Is this despite the fact that we haven't done 50 points of level 1 study? Are there any requirements other than just enrolling that I have to do?

I imagine that's right.
