Title: calculator approval for AFC1000
Post by: *ryan777* on March 31, 2010, 03:39:01 pm
my AFC1000 lecturer mentioned something about taking the calculator u wanna use in the mid-semester test up to some place in menzies to have it "stamped", and if u dont they wont allow it in the test

so what is all that about?
also, seeing as my test is in the evening can i just have it done on the day? (i dont have to go back to monash till the day of the test)

I got mine done today - just go to the 10th floor of the Menzies building, turn right after u get out the elevator. Walk past the big window (where u can see practically everything below you) and look for an office on the right. Show them ur calc and they'll put a sticker on it. If ur going to do it on monday - do it before 3 (cause they might close their office afterwards).

It takes a lot longer for the elevator to get to the 10th floor than it does for them to 'approve your calculator' (read: put a sticker on it).
