Title: pencil
Post by: /0 on June 08, 2009, 09:06:41 pm
What type of pencil do you need to fill in multiple choice boxes for the detailed study? I know it's read by a computer but what kind of lead does the computer read?

Can you use any pencil or must it be 2B or summat...?

I agree with True tears,
Look at the cover of the exam, and or/ previous VCAA exams.

They suggest to fill in with pencil - yet they dont specify any specific pencil.
So, it is not nessesary to utilise a 2B or whatever, just use your regular pacer, lol.

There is a multiple choice response sheet, similar to that you would see in Methods or the GAT, for example.

I believe they did this so you can't answer more than one detailed study

yes, if you forgot to do that, you won't be awarded any marks.

it's in a pretty obvious place, and it says in BOLD to mark ONE OF THE BOXES.

do that at the start of the exam :)

Yea remember to do that.

A friend of mine left the shading of the detailed study to the end and eventually forgot to shade it. We were all discussing about the paper when he remembered. He went back up and luckily the examiner let him shade it in :s
