im redoing physics this year and if i hav learnt anything last year was to not leave epi to last minute, our school only has a week to do it though and right up is done in class but we may bring our log books etc
we can pick our experiment this year - its on motion, anybody hav any good and simple ideas?
im horrible at writing reports so any tips would be great, also if your a tutor who is good with reports let me know!

Writing reports is a very outdated aspect of the course. In my opinion, it's really not up to the VCE to teach report writing, but to leave that for people who actually continue to do science in university.
Regardless of my views, you should follow the scientific method:
1. Define the question
2. Gather information and resources (observe)
3. Form hypothesis
4. Perform experiment and collect data
5. Analyze data
6. Interpret data and draw conclusions that serve as a starting point for new hypothesis
7. Publish results (this part is your report)
Using steps 1-6 as a model, your report should include the following headings (ones in bold are necessary):
Abstract
Aim
Materials
Method
Results
Hypothesis
Conclusion
Your results part should be the bulk of your report, with a lot of calculations shown (error estimates), while you should discuss your results in depth in the Hypothesis section. (I might be wrong about the "Hypothesis" section)
