Equilibrium constant calculations

Hello, this is one of the sample questions of the Atar notes (course notes) book and I’m just confused because the reactant and the product are in a 1:2 ratio. However, in the table the change is the same. Wouldn’t we need to divide it by two to get the change in H2?

Hi!

When calculating the Keq, the number of moles of the product is used as a superscript when inserting values

I have inserted an image below to try and explain this
As you have two moles of H+, instead of diving by the number of moles, the number of moles is represented by the superscript.

I'm not really good at explaining this, but if you read pg 12 of the Atar Notes Chemistry Course Notes book, it is explained really well on the bottom half of the page.
