Yep these jetstream pens are super smooth and you can get them at most newsagents. I haven't seen the ones that DJA posted, since the ones in the newsagents look like this, although I'm assuming they are the same smoothness?excellent taste bro, I got the same pens :D

The only drawback is they are pretty expensive and in my experience run out pretty quickly
Edit: Just out of interest do people here use regular or mechanical pencils when doing Maths exams?

I'm not a lefty but somehow I still end up with the whole side of my palm covered in ink after writing an exam/essay/anything with more than a paragraph :-\
This ^^ makes my writing completely illegible since everything ends up smudged and there's little inky prints left everywhere hahaha !
#thestruggleisreal
Yeah, this is a problem with some of those cheaper pens that tend to bleed and smudge or if you're using gel ink pens. Maybe try out some of the Jetstream pens or a good Pilot Pen and go for the sharper points (0.7mm) so there won't be as much ink on the page
I personally don't recommend 4 color pens. They're generally cheaply made and not particularly good pens; you're sacrificing writing quality for convenience. tbh i think rather than buying tonnes of cheaps pens, it's better to buy some more expensive ones.
I really dislike these pens.. they make my terrible handwriting appear even worse lololol
~
I currently also use a Jetstream pen but it has three colours. I'm going to support your statement Psyxwar since the ink runs out very quickly!! -.-'''''
Is it this one? >
Cause then we have the same 3 colour pen haha
Hey guys um... seeing that many of you post gel pens, which is no good for us lefties (i will smudge the whole page LOL), are any suggestions on quality ballpoint pens?
Cheers. :D
Yep LOL! Great mindsthink alike... use the same pen hahah
Been using the pilot g2 lately and I like it - especially as it comes in 0.5mm.
This thread just got posted on the AN Facebook page.
This thread just got posted on the AN Facebook page.
Is it just me or does anyone else feel like a massive nerd for actually caring about what pen they use for an exam? Haha
Considering this thread has been long overdue(http://media.giphy.com/media/iGNiqAuwG9dwQ/giphy.gif)
omg these pens http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/4pcs-Selling-models-pen-oil-based-office-ballpoint-pen-pressed-0-7-mm-ABP41701-/191090082347?pt=UK_Home_Garden_PensPencils_WritingEquipment_SM&var=&hash=item2c7ddb422b
won't use anything else, I order these every three months or so :D
good to see i'm not the only one crazy enough to have a pen brand of choice ;)
actually thought this topic was called: Epi-Pens for 2014 Exams
Just saw this thread and thought it was an appropriate place for my problem.
I write far too small. It looks like chicken-scrawl. Even I can hardly read my own writing when I check my answers. What sort of pens will help me write bigger/more legibly? Don't want to piss away marks by the examiner getting fed up when they give up and stop trying to discern my responses.
Is anyone else really OCD about the intensity of ink produced by blue pens? I can only use BIC blue pens because their blue ink is the darkest from my experience. :')Lol, that's a first :p

(Really, this of all things is my 4000th post?)
*reports to moderator for making a bad joke*
Anyway back on topic about pens please. I wasn't going to contribute but now i feel a little guilty.
I like pens with grips because you can literally feel your bone pushing into the pen by the end of all that writing. A nice rubbery grip helps massively. You want as little resistance as possible, you dont want those ball-points which are hard to push. You want something with gel that'll glide. This is purely for comfort and speed. If you want it to look nice, you'd probably write it in cursive with a fountain pen or something..
Hey everyone, regardless of how long they last, you should bring another pen just in case.
Sorry to bump the thread, but was wondering how long the jet stream pens last ...
I only bought two yesterday, used one for the english exam today. Have four more exams to go ...
Cheers :)
I run a Uniball Jetstream and a Pentel Tradio.
The Jetstream is popular for a reason - it's so smooth! The tradio is a fountain pen instead of a rollerball, so you might
get a bit more smudging and those annoying ink blots, but it's equally as smooth while being a lot more comfortable in my opinion.
Would recommend them both.

Aren't they beautiful :')
