That I just reached for my 'drink bottle' without looking, having forgotten that I lost it somewhere at school today, I had a glass of water on my desk instead...it was full.

Also that I left my drink bottle somewhere at school and I have no idea where I last had it (except it definitly went to school). It's just an old Aroona bottle too so it won't be in lost property or anything.

Pretty sure that's illegal / not permitted.
In Vic on weekdays they're permitted to do construction work 7am-8pm (restricted on weekends). 10:30pm-3am is definitely not allowed. That's terrible :(
