December Round Offers

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to ask something about the new December round offers. If my first preference course was only sending course confirmations in January but my second was sending in December, would I be accepted in my second preference in December or would I have to wait till January to find out if I was accepted in my first preference?

Thanks in advance :)

I believe you’d have to wait until January because you only ever get the highest preference that wishes to make an offer.

As Tau said, you only get to see the offer from the highest preference that has (a) accepted you and (b) is actually offering in that round. As a result, the highest preference you could be offered in the December round offers will be Preference #2, but never fear, come January, you'll still have the chance to get Preference #1!

If this does happen, my advice is to accept the December round offer until you get the official offer for your Preference #1 in the January (or later) rounds.
