Thanks for voting!! Hoping it wasn't going to be a dead poll. Brenden says polls don't get much attention  :'(

It looks like nobody (yet) would definitely say no to Brenden!

Currently watching the Handmaid's Tale would fully recommend despite it being a tad disturbing, but it is the realness of something like that occurring that makes its so sinister!!
How good is it! Not the usual sort of show that I watch, but I really enjoyed it.
The book is on my to-read list - will have to wait until uni is finished though when I actually have time to read!

Hope the SAC goes well when it comes! Enjoy these last weeks of high school :)

Currently bombed out for exams, trials are next week so that hole might become a real reality.   :P ::)
Specialist exam 1 is okay I need to be more accurate and concise with my answers however it is normally just a matter of time. I am taking too long to work out the answers to the exam. Exam 2 MC on the other is killing me, it just depends on the year so that can a bit disappointing. Exam 2 SA is going pretty smoothly however the last questions always throws me off I either get it or I don't.  :'( I am most worried about not finishing English and Business Management. A bit rusty on how to answers question so that I do not write too much but then also answer the question. Biology is currently dead to me but the stress of getting a good atar is really getting to me.  :-[

I am currently locked out of the AtarNotes building as my keycard for some reason won't work up the elevator, maybe because I came too earlier. But, yeah currently crashing at the State Library. I have no clue what the eating and drinking rule is like at State so hopefully I don't get kicked out. Was hoping to re-draft an essay at TuteSmart and so got a Boost smoothie to keep me company!! Fingers Crossed xx

Just ring the intercom or call the office, and we'll let you up. :) Card should work now though!

Currently completing my James Cook application and trying to avoid the fact that my trials start in less than 48 hours  :o :o
I have realised that pitching myself and trying to sell myself to someone that is likely to never meet me is if not the hardest thing ever  ;). I need to send this off by the 30th of September.  ;D The next two weeks are havoc so I have no clue why people call these two weeks 'holidays' there more like 'study minus no school weeks'. I am also moving in a little over a month so need to also start packing - so much to do so little time?!!

No I didn’t fall off the face of the earth and die!!! Thanks for asking guys 😂😂
First weeks of holidays have flown by and trials have also gone with it too. I had altogether 4 exams, three of which I finished. I could not finish exam 2 of specialist, maybe because I spelt too long trying to come to term with the fact I mixed up the start and end times and arrived just on time for the paper. The last week has been havoc and to be honest I am now procrastinating more than ever. I am doing some holiday lectures though IDK why so that should account for something. Blogging at the moment from Telstra HQ this place makes me wanna quit my dreams and just become a phone techie, one of the most nicest office buildings I have been to. Next month is going to be crazy, I’m moving in like
25 days and my cousin has also arrived from VN to study in Oz so I have to teach her maths and English 😴😬
SO READY FOR SUMMER BREAK!!!

Second day back at school today and the cramming begins, trial exam results have been okay so far aiming to add around like another 10 - 15% on each score. Still waiting on specialist though, apparently out teacher wants us to correct it ourselves Good Luck with that we have carrot brains!! Really motivated after my procrastination slump but could never feel the same about writing essays, still a living hell.

Finally sacs are all complete still waiting on a final Specialist sac mark hopefully that goes all well and I can say I passed everything in school once and once only. :P I ended up topping three out of my four trials exams despite not being first rank for Specialist exam. I'm still aiming to increase my marks by 10% to 15% wanting to get your opinion on that and if it's possible. :o :o There's such a short amount of time until the exams that I feel like i can't make a big difference to my scores... Oh and was just told I have two more English classes!!! What the bleep!!!
Biology - 85% (Insight)
Business Management - 84% (CPAP)
English - 70% (Insight)
Specialist (Exam 2) - 63% (Heffernan)
Bah!!! Feels like so some much to study, so little time!!!

Nice work, Wendles! :)

I think you'll be able to get a surprisingly high amount of stuff done in the next few weeks. It might not feel like that much time, but improvements can certainly come. :)

As Joseph41 has alluded to, you can always increase your marks in an exponential way. It is amazing how much you can improve when you put your mind to it. That being said don't focus don't much on grades as this can be potentially a choking mindset for the exam.

In that you focus so much on what your grades/mark/score needs to be on the exam, that it creates unecessary pressure, stress and anxiety on yourself that could cause you to "bomb/tank/flunk/sink" the exam. Just something to keep in mind.

I wish you all the best in your exams Wendles, your looking on track to do well.
