I HATE apple juice...it kinda leaves a metallic taste in my mouth?

I had a bad experience in a hospital that turned me off apple juice forever...so I suppose my opinion is fairly biased

Anyone else been turned off foods because they were sick before/after eating?

Juice in general has wayyyy too much sugar haha. Apple juice in particular is too sweet. Orange juice isn't much better.

If I have to drink it, I drink the juice that's like a combination of stuff - so tropical or whatever.

Seriously though, so bad for your teeth.

Oh god yeah, the apple juice they have in hospitals is foul :-X

And yup, and have also been turned off foods because of texture and all that haha. One of those foods being bananas. Also bloody hate kiwi fruit with a passion.
I can't eat snow peas because I found a caterpillar in a snow pea salad I was about to eat once :-\
And can't drink coconut rum because of a terrible pina colada I had in Malaysia haha.
A lot of the other foods I can't handle eating are just from getting sick of them - sandwiches, certain breakfast cereals, etc.

How can you call yourself Australian?
But back on topic, I'm not a fan of juice anymore. I only drink purely for social reasons aka not being the weirdo drinking water.
When I drink juice, it feels like water with *lots, lots and lots* of added sugar.
Jack of all trades, master of none.
Hence why i'm in all these different threads and boards.

I love orange juice.
Preferably with pulp.

I also love the combination of passion fruit and orange.
Yum.

Are hot showers better for cleanliness or is the temperature merely for comfort?

Quite easily :)

I always felt like water with a higher temperature did a better job of washing away/dissolving any oils and yuck stuff, but not sure how much science there is behind that one.
Maybe a bit of both?

Your stomach is the reason why you're missing out :(

Also, I'm fairly sure that it does help, but I always go for hot showers for the comfort. Cold showers are ridiculous unless I just got home from 36 degrees heat

Cold showers are a great way to find out how ridiculous fear is. :D
Also good way to break out of your comfort zone, I actually will start getting back into it.

Hot water is what I use to dissolve drugs in the recrystallisation process, so I'll vouch that it can sorta wash away (actually soaps and detergents are technically needed because the water is polar and oils are general nonpolar, so micellisation needs to happen)
/ends nerd out

Tldr Hot showers 😍
