I've seen worse performances!
What a game that was, one of the best ways for Maxi to remind the selectors that he is a massive matchwinner. He picked up the best bowling analysis for the game, the highest score (an unbeaten ton), and took a good catch.

Great win for the Strikers, brilliant batting by Jake Weatherald, sensational knock.

Great ton! Was really, really lucky though!

Still think he should be a regular in the team. The reason to why Maxi doesn't get picked is something we don't know - can be a poor relationship with Smith maybe or even Lehmann. How someone like Cameron White gets picked before him is ridiculous.

With the World Cup in about one year, they should have their list settled already (e.g. like England) and be working to build around it. Except for Warner, Finch and Smith we don't even have a settled batting order yet. With Warner dropping so much in form I actually don't think we'll be able to go that far next year. This is going to be one of the worst squads we have ever entered in the tournament.

And Cameron White gets to 10K FC runs!!! #legend

I'm not really a fan of T20, but that tri series with England and NZ was awesome for Aus, jumping from 7th to 2nd in rankings. Even in NZ we dominated, particularly the 'record run-chase' game.

Will the Bushrangers win their second game of the season, or not? Will Handscomb be picked in SA? Will Zampa's 50 be noticed by anyone? These are all big questions in Australian cricket. Any predictions for the Aus-SA Test series? I'm thinking 3-0 to Australia.

Saffas knocked over for 162, giving Aus a lead of 189??!! Awesome batting by M Marsh, just a pity he couldn't go on to make the ton. Great batting from the legend AB, with the whole team collapsing around him, and great bowling from Australia's bowling pack! Keep going boys, a win shouldn't be too hard from here...

Sa not chasing it down, would've said the same at the end of the 3rd innings since 400+ has only been chased down around 4 times in history

I find it ironic that the Australians are whinging about sledging getting too personal. Australia were the first to introduce sledging in cricket. I've read that in the 80s era there being A LOT of racism towards West Indians, Pakistanis and Indians touring Australia - players being called ''curry munchers'', ''niggas'' etc. Even in the last ten years; Waugh, Ponting, Clarke have all gotten involved into many incidences like this (e.g. Clarke telling Anderson that he'll ''break his fucking arm'' and what he said to Dale Steyn).

What do you guys think? De Cock doesn't look like a guy that would randomly abuse anyone, let alone Warner. I'm sure something was said to him which led to the Candice comment. What goes around comes around. If you can't handle being on the receiving end, then why be the one to start it?

Ouch! That was certainly not how we would have liked this Test to start. Smith will certainly be wanting to go big in this innings. Brilliant batting from the Master AB, great legend of SA cricket! Don't want to down-play the skill of Rabada's bowling, but he was waaayy too aggressive, it's easy to say that his bump of Smith was accidental, but he made no attempt to get out of the way as he was running down... I think it was deliberate. I'm in favour of him, Warner and de Kock getting suspended, that way we might be able to bring in Handscomb! A failure by Khawaja here surely will bring him into contention. Maybe Maxi as well? A good knock by the great Smith here could shift the balance of power, but I don't think that SA are losing from here. But don't forget that spell of reverse swing where the Aussies were all over SA, whilst never quite bagging the wickets.
