My name is Michael Zhao and I will be offering tutoring for Maths Methods 3&4 and Specialist Maths 3&4 in 2020 .

Regardless of your current level in these subjects, I will work together with you to improve your skills and strive for your goals. You will gain a more solid understanding of key concepts from an intuitive and logical perspective, bypassing the burden of blindly memorising vague formulae and robotic routines. Combined with skills for the calculator and tips to display your working out in a competent manner, you will improve your marks in the vital SACs and exams that decide your study score. Finally, with my personal strategies to tackle stress and silly mistakes in assessments, you will be more confident that your hard work will yield the results you deserve.

About me:
- Maths Methods Raw 50 + Premier's Award (achieved in Year 10)
- Specialist Maths Raw 50 + Premier's Award (achieved in Year 11)
- University of Melbourne Extension Program Mathematics 98% and 90% (highest in Victoria in 2019)
- Graduated in 2019 with a perfect 99.95 ATAR
- Prior teaching experience in one-on-one tuition and class lecturing

What you will gain:

How lessons are structured:
- Lessons can be as rigid or flexible as you wish
Lessons can include:
- Learning subject content ahead of the rest of your class
- Consolidating content you have already learnt
- Tackling the textbook or exam questions you are struggling with
- Answering general questions or discussing pertinent issues and experiences

Location and price:
- $40/hour preferably at Box Hill Library
- One free session to get to know one another, and one free trial lesson to ensure you are happy
- Online assistance outside of lessons for quick questions with no additional fee
- I am happy to negotiate alternative locations or discounts on group tutoring
