Hello everyone! I am running online tuition over this summer break before school begins in 2021, very happy to help you all either catch up with work from what has been a very difficult year or get ahead for 2021! I can help with the subjects below in particular, but am open to any other requests either at a VCE-level or non-VCE-level. In terms of tutoring experience, I have tutored all of these subjects either at or below VCE level for the past 2 years!

Literature [50]: I am very passionate about the subject, and understand the principles behind Literature (author, text, reader). In particular, I have experience either studying or tutoring the following texts which are on the 3/4 course for 2020/2021: 12th Night (studied as an exam text, so have heaps of essays and notes I'm happy to provide, have also tutored on this text), Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (studied and tutored), Only the Animals (studied and tutored), Emily Dickinson's poetry (tutored), Sylvia Plath's Ariel (tutored). Am happy to either give you a head start on any of the above texts or any others if wanted, as well as giving an understanding of what is required for Literature, what the subject is about, and what the examiners are looking for!

Music Performance [50-Premier's Award]: Comprehensive understanding of course requirements, can give excellent preparation and advice for Sacs, written exam, and recital (even better for violinists!) Methodical analysis of unheard music (section A on exam), and can give several ways to conquer musical theory/aural sections!

Specialist Maths [48]: Deep understanding of challenging topics (including complex numbers, vectors, differential equations, stats & probability). Will give deeper insight with mathematical creativity/problem solving, as experienced through Australian Maths Comp/Olympiad. I have also experienced the pain of methodically eliminating silly mistakes, so will pass on that advice as well! Also happy to go over any tough topics from 1/2 or anything else!

Maths Methods [45]: Have had lots of experience tutoring, am able to explain the harder concepts as well as coming up with strategies to eliminate silly mistakes.

Chemistry [47]: Able to explain difficult VCE topics due to deeper insight offered by Chemistry Olympiad preparation program, highly detailed notes to use as basis for tutoring. Can systematically work through the course and target weaker areas.

Latin [45]: Able to help with all sections of the exam, especially the extended response section which is a challenge for most students.

Offering tutoring online for now, in-person tutoring will depend on the situation  :) :'(

Please email me if interested at [email protected]   Time/payment is completely negotiable!

All the best!
