Monash Biomed SEAS

Hey everyone!

So I want to get into Monash Biomed and I just went to the monash SEAS calculator online and apparently my ATAR can go up by like six ATAR points (not aggregate)! Since the ATAR to get into Biomed is around 95.00, if I got a 90.00 and it went to a 96.00 does that mean I could still get in?

Just trying to figure out how this SEAS thing works!

Thanks :)

Mod Edit [Aaron]: Moved to Monash board + changed title for relevance.

yes if your adjusted ATAR is above the cut-off you will get in however you won't be given your adjusted ATAR score.

The Monash Guarantee for biomed is 88 so IIRC that means if you fuffill certain SEAS criteria and get an ATAR of 88.00 or above you are guaranteed to attain a place.

Hopefully you don't need to rely on this but it's a good safety net! :)

Sine sums this up well :)

The Monash Guarantee is for students who are experiencing financial hardship, Indigenous Australians, living in a low socioeconomic area, or are attending an under-represented school. You can check out if you qualify for that stuff through this link:
