✓ Ordered burger with the lot
✓ Got asked if I wanted pineapple included
✓ "Yep, everything thanks - the lot"
✓ "Pineapple is an extra $0.50"

Not really the lot, is it?

Made brownies yesterday morning to take to someone's house today. Have spent the last 24 hours trying to resist tasting them.

It's tough.

My cat is currently chewing in her sleep.

Oop she just woke up to curl around and slap herself in the face with her own paw before going back to sleep.

Honestly I do that when I wake up too.

Complimentary picture of said cat as she is at the moment:

So it turns out that at this time of year I can’t just sit out in the sun for two hours without getting burnt - I know, it surprised me too.

Edit: my sunburn so bad I set the fire alarm off.

Edit2: To continue the string of things i'm doing wrong today, I finally got to have a shower after we came back in from the fire alarm and I managed to lock myself out of my room for the first time all year.

I haven't made my formula sheet for my stats exam on Tuesday but I've worked on my ability to draw hands so that's something right? Right?? ? ?

Really good! How did you do this?

Thank you!

I used paint 3D (default program on my laptop) and sketched the outline and creases in pink pencil. (Lots of erasing and staring at my left hand to figure out what the angles, sizes etc. of various parts should be). This became my guide for everything else.  Veins were added in pencil initially, later I realised it was too grainy and went over with the paint brush tool but by that stage I'd already added skin tone so I had to go back and (attempt) to correct the skin tone as well so it wasn't too blue.  For the skin tone I mostly used the spraycan tool with various levels of opacity & size. Then I added an outline in that colour with the brush tool,  erased shading outside the lines & that's it!

Just ate a two week old Subway cookie. I'll let you guys know how I am in a few hours time.
Which will hold greater rule over you? Your fear or your curiosity?

I've had a grand total of 11 job applications rejected just this very month (including MacDonald's!!!!) Guess it's my own fault for not working when I was young (hence I was cheap to hire) and now I have no work experience and I'm old. How's everyone's life going? Hopefully better than mine  ;)

this looks super cool! I love looking at others art :)))

An update from me:
Had my Spec TF Unit 2 exam this week.
Due to the exam, I studied statics of a particle very much over the weekend as I really didnt pay much attention in class when it was being taught. I understood it, as was super happy with myself.

Started doing the exam, was disappointed a question on that topic didnt come up.

Kinda stumbled through the exam.

Glanced at the person next to me in the last 30 secs who seemed to be busy working on a question with a diagram.

Where on earth was this?????
Quickly flicked through the exam - only to find the question on THE BACK PAGE. Time was now up, and a 4 mark question I studied so hard for was staring back at me, blank.

You could almost feel my disappointment. Guess I'll never forget to check the back page again.

Kinda a long update ha ha

Have a two stage fire alarm activation system, they said. It’ll make you have to evacuate less, they said.
>still has to evacuate every time and now they take twice as long -_-

I know how you feel. I got my first job at age 18, just before I started uni. I wrote many applications before getting my current full-time job. Don't let failure set you back. :)
