You know your life is sad when you do your biology homework as a reward for doing your English homework. :P

A Poem (@ NESA, this would be a good discovery unseen text)

Found $20 on the ground
Bent down to collect it
A strong gust of wind blew it away.
Went after it with passion and finally got it :)
Overheard someone talking about how they just lost their $20
Conscience kicked in and I gave the money to them
And then missed my train

Recently watched How to get away with Murder. Actually got pissed and upset that the main characters they killed off were two people with very difficult upbringings (Wes and Rebecca), especially at points that they were happy in relationships, something that is very difficult at times for characters that have never known what being in love was like. If only they didn't go with the 'people who went through trauma after trauma die young' and instead tried to create something inspiring...Both of those characters are somewhat more multi-dimensional than many of the others. I also just think that there is something greater that play for young people who grew up like that, to feel less alone, to understand a bit about themselves, to see that people like them can be loved and to love....

I spent most of my weekend sitting on the same lounge watching Netflix (Misfits) and I went to the store to buy some double sided tape, ended up buying some earphones because I lost mine. I got home literally found the headphones I lost but I looked in the spot they were and they weren't there originally. But anyway.

I continued watching Netflix and did my VAPD.

Today’s the 4th time in the last 2 weeks work’s asked to change my shift last minute. It’s 4pm. It would take me around an hour to get home to get my uniform etc. and then about 45min to get to work. There’s no way in hell I’m going to do that. Also Sunday and Monday are my department managers days off so it’s been the store manager texting me and she’s scary.

I don’t know why they need someone to come in this last minute anyway...but then I know who’s supposed to be closing and it’s the same person who texted me at 10pm to ask me to cover for her the next day...

Why can’t they just figure this out in advance. I got asked to work 2 tuesdays in a row last minute and even I knew weeks in advance that the person who was supposed to be working wasn’t going to be there.

for those out there with enough hair to experience 'bed hair'... is this relatable?
Someone told me to grow up yesterday. I immediately banned that person from ever riding my unicorn!

Does your school not have school uniform or am I just trippin'?  :o

Btw that dog is adorable.
No school uniform haha - Although that only happened at the end of last year and it's optional now so people do still wear it sometimes (or just the jacket)

Took an uber pool today!
Driver was having trouble trying to find the other passenger.
Driver puts call on loudspeaker.
Passenger gives the wrong directions to his location.
Had to awkwardly listen to their argument during the ride.
Which will hold greater rule over you? Your fear or your curiosity?

I have never heard of this. What's the concept?

I learnt this recently from a friend as well, Uber has an option (Uber Pool) which allows you to ride with people (strangers) going from nearby meeting places to similar locations (or ones on the way). They system links you with other people and brings the cost down quite a bit.

Uber pool is almost the same as normal Uber but it's way way cheaper since you have the share the ride with other passengers. Drivers will pick up and drop off passengers heading in the same direction to locations that are somewhat close to one another. Though, it takes a bit longer to book an Uber pool since drivers are busy picking up/dropping off passengers, it is reasonably cheaper than having an Uber all for yourself. My uber pool only cost me $5.62, instead of the usual $14.

Plus, you get to meet very interesting people in Uber pools :)

My teacher put a video of a log fire on the projector to warm us up, told us she had to turn it off the previous period because it got too hot?? Appropriate for an earth and environmental science class I guess...
