Subject Selection (Help please!)

Hi everyone,

If anyone can help, I'm trying to figure out whether to drop Psychology or Specialist Maths next year. I'm also doing Literature, Methods, Biology and Chemistry. Psychology is easy for me; I get high B+/A without studying while Specialist is challenging but far more interesting. I get B+ with minimal study. I enjoy both a lot. I'm also interested in doing a uni extension subject next year, probably Bio or Psych if I continue it but I'm open to recommendations.

Regarding my other subjects:

A+ in Lit with max effort, B+ with minimal effort
A in Methods with medium effort, B+ with minimal effort
A+ in Bio with max effort, B+ with minimal effort
A in Chemistry with max effort, B with no study

I dropped out of the 1/2 I did in year 10.

So what do you guys think I should do? Drop out of Psych or Specialist? And should I do a uni extension subject and if yes, then what subjects would you recommend?  :)

Are you allowed to do both or do you have to drop one?

If you have to drop one then base your decision off two things:
1. What do you want to do in uni?
2. What do you enjoy more?

Don’t worry about psych being easier - scaling will affect that anyway.

Re: Uni extension, there’s two ways you could decide what to do
1. Do something relevant to what you plan on doing at uni (e.g. if you’re planning on doing science then do a science extension subject)
2. Do something different just to give it a try.

Regardless, do whichever you think you’ll enjoy more, ultimately that’s what’s important.
