Help with subject selection

Hi all i'm currently a year 11 vce student and since i am doing 6 subjects this year i have to drop 1 when i get to year 12
I'm undertaking mathematical methods, english, chemistry, computing, media, and history.
I'm interested in studying computer science at RMIT university and they only require methods and english.
I'm looking to drop chemistry because that's my weakest subject but i'm not sure if its still a good idea.
I enjoy all my other subjects and i'm a lot better at them than i am with methods or chemistry.
Plz help me out :-\ :-\ :-\

Well if it's your weakest subject, and it's not really needed for any prerequisites, I'd drop Chem...
Seems a logical choice. :)

And btw, Welcome to AN!

Unfortunately Methods is a requirement for most if not all CS courses now and it's definitely a prerequisite for good reason - the maths needed to be successful in a CS (even IT) course is about at that level.

I'd recommend looking into Algorithmics if you're genuine about Computer Science. Most schools don't run it yet but Distance does.

I dropped Chem at the end of Year 11 too - definitely play to your strengths. If you feel it isn't one of yours, drop it.
