Need help deciding what english subject to pick next year

I’ve been doing Englang 1/2 this year and to be honest I don’t really enjoy the subject and I don’t feel motivated to study. I never liked english in general so my reasoning is to drop englang and pick up mainstream english because it doesn’t require as much study as englang to get a decent study score in and there are a lot more resources out there to help me if I need it.

At the same time though I’m worried because maybe 3/4 Englang won’t be as bad as 1/2. Also, what if I do poorly in english 3/4 because I didn’t do 1/2? Any advice appreciated
