heyy monokekie....yepp i'm doing a m.chem eng thru commerce @ uom. (thx tinyapple =])

unfortunately you can't do either accounting or actuarial studies major whilst completing the pre-reqs for a masters of chem eng. this is because these majors require you to do breadth subjects (i think from the law+maths faculty) in order to attain accreditation. however you can do a double major finance with marketing, management, eco....might also be able to do the business major, but you'll have to double check that one.

basic outline-
first year-qm1, micro, macro + 2 commerce electives, calc 2, linear alg, esd 1

summer-two commerce subs

second year-ob + commerce elective, chemistry 1+2, cpa 1+2, transport processes+eng maths

third year-7 commerce subs, fluid mechanics

the method above is just the way i've done my course, prob could have done it better with a bit of planning...you can chop and change it if you want, just make sure you satisfy the pre-reqs.

check the handbook for info on subjects.

if you have anymore q's shoot them my way =]
