Bumping this thread :)

So, for those of us who signed up for early results release, it looks like results have come out! Probably worth checking your Monash email and your text messages if you haven't already ;)

Official results release day is tomorrow. How are people feeling? Nervous? Excited? A mixture of both? :)

Yep Finally!. every semester I try to convince myself not to subscribe for early release because the Sunday wait and the seemingly random timing always kills me!

Was relatively happy with the results (except MCB - multiple choice kills me)
BCH2011 - HD - 88
PHY2011 - HD - 83
MCB2011 - D - 78

PS. If any first year science kids want an easy HD in second year, take PHY2011.

CHM1051  Chemistry I advanced    85  HD
FIT1045  Algorithms and programming fundamentals in python   79  D
MAT1830  Discrete mathematics for computer science   84  HD
MTH1035  Techniques for modelling (advanced)   85  HD

Kinda annoyed with that 79, but I know didn't really deserve a HD in 1045 anyway. Really happy with the other three though. Did better than I thought in MAT1830.
2015 - 2016: IT Applications [44] | Religion & Society [40] | English Language [37] | Maths Methods [42]  | Physics [42]  | Chemistry [45] | Specialist Maths [41]

I didnt sign up for early results since I'm overseas. Not too sure on the technicalities whether I could have received it via email by now LOL.

Probs feeling a mixture of both since you can estimate roughly what you will get but then again you never know :P

ATS3582 - Arab-Israeli conflict - 77 D
ATS3695 - Public policy - 74 D
ECC3660 - Monetary economics- 88 HD
ETC2410 - Introductory econometrics- 74 D

Super happy with monetary economics since I really wanted to bring up my 3rd year economics WAM to be more competitive for honours. A bit disappointed with public policy since I thought I might get closer to a HD, but oh well.

Considering my mother passed away two weeks before the start of this semester I'm pretty happy with how I recovered.

results are officially up guys!

Hopefully everyone is happy :)

2017   BMS1011   1   BIOMEDICAL CHEMISTRY                   1   6   90   HD
2017   BMS1021   1   CELLS, TISSUES AND ORGANISMS   1   6   84   HD
2017   BMS1031   1   MEDICAL BIOPHYSICS                        1   6   89   HD
2017   MTH1030   1   TECHNIQUES FOR MODELLING        1   6   87   HD

Can't complain with 4 HD's but slight disappointment with 1021 (although was expecting this mark). Also 1030, expected a tad higher. however really only crammed for 1 day since I had a biomed exam the day before.

1011 and 1031 were as expected :)

That's a bloody good effort for your first semester. You're going to encounter near-misses to your target mark every semester, but it's what you do with that in your future studies that counts :)

Well done Sine  8)
