Title: VCE results - final countdown
Post by: Joseph41 on December 09, 2019, 12:17:13 pm
How are you all feeling? Counting down the days or pretty relaxed about things?

Use this thread for any thoughts or musings about upcoming results. :)

Has anybody gotten result related nightmares? Had this dream last night where I was chasing down my methods teacher because he gave me a C- for GA1, and I don't even think C- is a possible grade.

VCE discussion space is not helping matters. :-\

I had a nightmare a few days ago that I singlehandedly brought down everyone's English study scores due to performing badly in the exam despite having a decent SAC ranking

Yeah I remember having a few weird dreams like this.

Almost there.

I had nightmares and a predictive dream about my ATAR before receiving it. Funnily enough, the predictive dream was almost accurate and I was fairly happy with it back in the day.

Hope that everyone achieves what they hoped!

Yep, had a dream that I was explaining to VCAA why I got the first question wrong on further maths exam 1 (getting the first question wrong actually happened).

Its probbaly because I'm only awaiting the results of one VCE subject, but I've genuinely completely forgotten that resuts are coming out in 3 days.....

Don't worry you are not the only one. (I only did one 3/4 this year and it has hit me big time) Had a dream the other day that all the Further teachers that I have annoyed this year were literally chasing me down the corridor of my school because of a mini stuff up I did in Exam 2. Gives me chills when I think about it. :'(

Completely random, but I kind of had a dream about waking up to a psychology study score instead of a biology study score. (I haven't done psych, and I personally strongly dislike the subject). This went on to my teacher being disappointing in me... for something I never did. Weird.

I must say, I really don't want to let my teacher down. They were just so awesome and encouraging throughout the year, and so I really want to make them proud, but I don't think that is going to happen now.

I've actualy had the last few days at school, just finishing off our jumpstart prgram  ;D Todays our last day,  so I think it will finally sink in that results are coming out tomorrow after school today  ;)

Good luck to everyone else receiving results tomorrow. No matter what happens, just know that you have worked super hard!

Ohhh this time tomorrow  - can't wait!

It's gotten to the point where I don't really care as much anymore but I just wanna see what I got!

Edit: Okay now I care again . . . I care a lot actually (my emotions confuse me at times)

I always get these! They are perfectly normal. I always have dreams where I am late to class or my books keep falling out of my hands on my way to class, thus, making me even more late. And I am having them like after school finished, and I wake up, and I'm like "lol you don't even have to go back there."

Anyway, I wish you all the best for tomorrow ❤️😊

What is sleep on a night like tonight? :P
Tomorrow is going to be one of the first days of my life where I am a morning person.
Most likely will be binge-watching videos/drawing at 12 am and hopefully will fall asleep. (Watch me wake up at 5am guys) ;D

I did silly mistakes on the further exam too! Hopefully it doesn't cost us too much!
What modules did you do?

I will probably wake up several times during the night.

I did the Matrices and Geometry Modules! I made one mistake in the Financial module and that will probably cost me :'(. (Let's pray it doesn't) I don't even want to think about that exam anymore :P. Thinking about it gives me flashbacks and honestly, I'm ready just to see my score and get it over and done with. :)

For some reason, I feel nothing. Like tomorrow is just another day. That always happens to me when something special or significant is going to happen. I used to get so nervous, but now, I feel legit nothing it's funny.

But, I know when I log in tomorrow to see the results, my heart will die, like my heart beats so hard and fast and my stomach feels light and lowkey sick.

Lol, does anyone else get that?

Yep this was me. I wasn't really excited or anything. Honestly for me it was very anticlimactic. There was no like tears of joy or anything. I kind of just looked at it and went alright job well done lol.

ME! That’s so accurate! Even with my Methods SACs this year, I felt a strange sense of calm before them (which I’m so grateful for!) I’m at a school trip at the moment but I don’t wanna check my Methods ss while I’m here because I know I’m gonna get depressed lol and I don’t want it to ruin the trip. So I’m gonna wait a full day to check em. I have a friend who also did Methods with me this year and she’s checking hers here but hopefully I don’t give in to doing the same. I don’t feel nervous, like I do get random like bursts of nervousness but they go away unless I latch on to them. I’m trying to be hopeful and hope that the assessors were kind when marking my paper but then again I know that isn’t realistic. I was really stressed like a couple weeks ago and was going ham on the study score calculator but that has calmed a bit since. Good luck to everyone!

I only have one subject to worry about so it's not as bad as it is for some if you guys.

I'm feeling the same as many have mentioned above- strangely ambivalent about tomorrow. I dont think there is even a score that I want (I'd probably be annoyed with literally any score lol)

I am, but not necessarily by choice ... my anxiety and caffeine are forcing me to stay up.
It's either I lie in bed awake and anxious, or anxiously waste away in front of a screen.
