What colour would each subject be?

This was a discussion that seemed to come up a lot in my high school, where our class would have arguments about which colour a certain subject is. Is this common in other schools too?

What I mean by this is eg. what colour folder would you delegate for that subject if you had a choice / what colour you'd colour in that subject in your schedule / just the vibes of the subjects corresponding with a colour .

My personal opinion:
English - pink /(red)
Maths - blue/(black)
Biology - green
Physics - purple
Chemistry - grey/clear/(blue)
LOTE - yellow/orange

I don't have too much of an opinion on humanities subjects as i didn't really do them in later years of high school, would be interesting to hear if there are certain colours that are associated with the hums subjects!

I think it seemed common for some people to argue that biology was blue, and chemistry was green, but why??? Also English and maths being blue and red respectively.

What are your opinions on the colours of your subjects? Do you think this is a waste of energy to think too much about this?

i will FOREVER stand strongly by the fact that

ENGLISH = RED
MATHS = BLUE

the other subjects kind of switch around for me, but generally science = green?

English is green, Maths is blue (darker being harder), History is red, Texts is light yellow (I won't murder your eyes by putting that colour in!). Those were the colours I associated in my mind, but didn't really use. I also associate fonts with subjects (does anyone else?):
English - Playfair Display
Methods - Times
History - Cardo
Texts - Montserrat

english: blue / dark colour
maths: red
legal: pink (fave colour + subject)
science: MUST be green
any other humanities/business: fun bright colours or dark if the subject sucks (eg. economics haha!)

Physics: Orangeeee
Chemistry: Red/Pink - for some reason chemical reactions remind me of these colours
Methods: Blue
Spec: Grey (because it was not fun lol)

I feel like this is weird but my colours change based on the specific variant of the the subject. Broadly speaking, I feel like

English = Yellow
History = Brown/Orange
Business/Economics = Green/Yellow
Chemistry = White
Biology = Green
Physics = Blue
Math is strange

Here's a more nuanced breakdown of my subject variants:
Varients
Maths
Maths Standard: Red
Maths Advanced: Dark Red
Maths Extension 1: Dark Blue
Maths Extension 2: Light Pink

HSIE
Ancient History: Bronze-Red
Modern History: Bronze-Brown
History Extension: Light Orange

Business Studies: Light Green
Economics: Dark Green
Commerce: Yellow

The more that I think about it the messier it gets because I also subdivided all the modules of each subject into colour hahaha. I think that for me, assigning colour is based more on the word that the subject although the content and course definitely influences how I think of the exact shade and it does change over time.

I'm surprised at the amount of people saying math is blue!! Mine were:

English: Green
Maths: Red/pink
Biology: Blue
Legal: Purple
Psych: Yellow
Studio Art: An array of colours with white/black background! After all, it's *art*.
