Need Clarification: Line of Best Fit.

If I have a set of data which when graphed on some axis becomes a parabola and I have to draw a line of best fit/trend line, would that be just a linear line? Or will it be a curved line of best fit? Im confused.........

If you have data of the form then I think if you let and , you can graph and then use a line of best fit to find .
