Hey, out of curiosity, when/how do those who place First in NSW for a HSC course get notified?

I'm pretty sure they get a call the day before the results for everyone else are released.

It filtered through to me that First in Course was notified yesterday; so I'd assume roughly a week before. Not sure how they get notified, since apparently you're supposed to maintain some confidentiality about it.

One week before + phone call is pretty common. This is so that they can RSVP for the first-in-course awards ceremony. It's also usually announced like one or two days before everything else if I recall.
