I think that can be considered as your glorious achievements. I don't even join any of these competitions yet!

I know I seem pessimistic, but honestly, no its not. Remember, one of the kids have programmed a 3D printer!!! DW about joining comps, they are nice and will understand that u just came from australia.

Can someone like give me like examples of the puzzles that were asked during the interviews? Pls, I am struggling a lot here, Thanks a lot

Go to YouTube or TED and search up "the bridge riddle", which is the topic from last year. if you want to do more, go and see the playlist "can you solve this riddle?" which contains 42 of them. not just math and logic is required, but you need to exploit the rules as well. they are HARD.

I'm seeing a lot of you guys stressing about the puzzle, and as a person who did it yesterday, it is super easy. If you want I can PM you what the puzzle was. One of my friends did it a day before me and he got the same puzzle, so they probably won't change it.

So, are you and your friend having the interview at the same time? Same day? Did you ask someone got interviewed on a different day from a different school?

I had a friend of mine from another school that did it on the 8th. I had mine on the 9th and it was the same. The people on the same day as me got the same as well. It wasn't like me and that friend of mine just got the same one by coincidence.

I do as well! my parents promised me months ago,  if I get in, means I proved my passion and ability in science. So at that time I can choose one of 2 rewards, the first is a Celestron NexStar 8SE 200mm telescope, the second one is a MakerArm 3D printer. even in poor conditions, they still support me hard!
now I have huge momentum for getting in at all cost!

damn you guys are lucky lol. if i got in id probably just get a pat on the back. not so say my parents are bad or anything, but with all the school fees they cant really afford new stuff. good for all of you though! good luck!

It's basically due to the fact that I don't have ANY electives in my school for science or math except Robotics that is always fully booked...
when it's year 10 the electives will affect your ATAR score, which is hugely stressful!
Since I failed Suzanne Cory, JMSS will be my only choice, and I have lots of disadvantage.
Fortunately, I was fully prepared for interview, and the curriculum is exceeding my expectation.the chance of coincidence is less than 10% though, lol. But there is a chance they will change it every 2 days, or each week. we probably needs more information. but since my interview is on 12th Aug, probably we don't have time left. but I still want the topic you had got, in case the officials are too lazy to change.I think more than us send this lol. maybe we should be starting a new topic about this.

I feel so bad. I am so nervous. My interview is on the 12th of August. Please wish me all the luck in the world ( believe it or not I will be needing it!), my next post will be after the interview.

Just screenshot what you recreated and send the screenshot, that would definitely work.

first, confirm it is a JPEG, PNG or GIF. to make sure, send it on a PC. then, if you still failed to send, try to compress it under 512kB.

Its a PNG and its 7.50kB. I don't know how to attach it to this.
