Hello everyone! I am currently in year 10 and I am going to be doing MMU3/4 next year (advanced placement). I was wondering how much harder U3/4 Maths Methods is compared to U1/2? What should I do this year in order to excel next year (really want a SS of 40+). Also, my average for the SACs and exams so far is 80%, is this alright?
I won't say it's much harder than U1/2, but you definitely need to put more time in.
Memory is a bit foggy, but I think everything in U1/2 will be retaught in U3/4. You'll be learning a few more 'extensions' from U1/2 (like chain rule and more in-depth focus on integrals).
If you're confident, you should be looking at the 3/4 study design and going through the dot points so you can study them. It's good to be ahead.
80% is great, but I'd really start thinking about ranking and what 80% is relative to your cohort scores (nevertheless, 80% for a year 10 for u1/2 is amazing!)
