Help - diagram labelling

Can anyone help by telling me how to indicate the direction and relative sizes of the force applied to the mass by the spring and the force applied to the mass by earth’s gravitational field for each of the 4 stages?

stage 1: original position
stage 2: mass is descending (going down)
stage 3: longest extension
stage 4: mass is ascending (going up)

Actually I'm not sure you can know which direction the spring is pushing at the top but gravity is going to be always downwards of course and at the bottom the spring will be pushing up net force at the top has to be down of course I don't think Newtonian springs are guaranteed to perform approximate SHM if gravity is pulling, maybe someone could prove me wrong because the equilibrium position for the spring is not going to be the center of oscillation. But yeah anyways, the net force at the top has to be downwards and the net force at the bottom has to be upwards. And in between, your net force is going to have a minimum.
