Can anyone please help me identify a technique in this quote "Who grinned at life in empty joy,  Slept soundly through the lonesome dark”.

Thank you

Hey, Amira.fahmy02!

Welcome to the forums!  ;D It would be great if I could have a little more context for the quote (which Module it's for, the text, perhaps even a line before and after it etc.) so the right technique can be assigned to it. Based off what's been given, you could use either of these two;

-Sibilance for "slept soundly" which suggests serenity, peace and calmness through the repetition of the "s" consonant sound.
-Juxtaposition of “empty joy” as a dichotomy of meaninglessness and fulfilment.

Let me know if they aren’t related to the text :) I’ll be happy to identify something else with more context.
