Bound Reference

Hey guys,

I'm doing Methods and Specialist next year so I just wanted to inquire about the reference book you can take in.
Do any of you guys know if I could somehow take digital notes and then print a bound copy to take into the exam?
Is this possible/allowed? And has anyone done this themselves/known/heard of anyone else who has?

You can take whatever you want in so long as it meets those guidelines. You can definitely print it if you want. You just need to get it bound together properly. I know officeworks does book binding, but I don't know much about the specifics (but it's definitely possible to print your reference book from digital notes).

I looked at that link already,
However, it didn't really say anything regarding "printing" the book out.
Is this something which others do? I was just thinking it could make it easier to find what I want and would be super easy to understand what's written their.
Also, with Officeworks, would anyone happen to know whether I just print all the pages out myself and then go there and they just bind it together somehow for me? Or do you send them the document online and then they print and bind it themselves so you just pick it up?
That binding should be secure right. Because I don't want to get to the exam and have pages falling out!

A friend of mine for Further Maths printed out his entire bound reference and stuck it into another book this year, and I believe the rules are the same for both methods and further in regards to the book. So long as nothing can fall out, be folded, be easily torn out, and it's all bound together (staples and tape will do for multiple books) you're fine.

I typed up my bound reference on word and printed it out for the exam. Everything went fine and I’d actually highly recommend doing this as it allows for organisation and tidiness.

So did you get yours bound at Officeworks? How much did it cost by the way, because I can't find any info on the binding on their website
