Congrats to our new nat mods!

Recently we announced Jamon going from red squares to purple, and I remember enough of primary school art to know that if you want to make purple from red you should add blue. Fortunately, we simply had too many amazing state mods who have well and truly demonstrated themselves to only choose one so today we’re welcoming 3 of our state mods into a nat mod role.

Each of these moderators has a long history of strong contributions to the forums in their (ever expanding) areas and I am very keen to see them in their new roles and excited to announce that to you all today!

#1: Insanipi
Insanipi's first post was in 2016 and since then she has collected some very impressive stats: She’s got the 3rd most respect out of all atarnotes users and her time spent online adds up to over 170 days. She’s also handed out more upvotes than anyone else (currently sitting at 28253) which perfectly matches her supportive attitude. She also created the thread which now has the most replies. Most of her posts have been in the general discussion and games areas of the forum (with over 1000  posts in other general discussion alone), but she also tracks almost 200 posts each in the Monash University, University Journey Journal, and VCE chemistry areas of the forum.
Congratulations to one of our newest National Moderators: Insanipi!

#2: Owidjaja
Owidjaja made her first post in 2017 and in 2018 became the first ever HSC member of the month. Since then, her time spent online adds up to months. In this time, she's earned almost a thousand respect and made more than a thousand posts – mostly in English Advanced, HSC Journey Journal, and general discussion areas with more than 100 posts in each of those areas. Despite studying engineering at uni, Owidjaja continues to provide excellent advice and feedback for HSC students in English and humanities subjects.
Congratulations to one of our newest National Moderators: Owidjaja!

#3: Sine
A quick look at Sine’s profile reveals that he made his first post near the start of 2015 and quickly began accumulating many, many, more until now where has more than 4000 posts. Sine also has an incredible amount of time with over 200 days of online activity. Most of Sine’s activity is in areas where it’s difficult to receive many upvotes – especially in the maths and technical score discussion sections of the forums (like in some other areas of the forums, Sine has 100s of posts in these boards). Despite that, Sine has a very impressive respect count of over 1,300.
Congratulations to one of our newest National Moderators: Sine!

I’ve talked about the stats in the above sections but make no mistake – the most important qualities can’t be neatly summed up in these numbers. Our newest moderators have shown exceptional dedication, taken initiative to push their areas forwards and take on other areas as well, and showcased the community spirit of AN.  For example earlier this year, Sine & Insanipi were both leaders driving the AN science games forwards, and Owidjaja expanded our reviews system to include TAFE and MOOC (massive online open course) reviews.

Thank you to our newest national moderators for all of your contributions so far, and everything we will see from you in the future!

Which will hold greater rule over you? Your fear or your curiosity?

Please note that I am no longer active on the forums.
