Hey there,
I guess there are two sides to procrastination: it can be a good thing and a bad thing! There are two types of procrastination, active and passive. Passive procrastination is what everyone thinks stereotypical procrastinators do: they'll binge watch a crap tonne of Youtube videos for the whole day and get nothing done. Active procrastination is considered as a more 'positive' form of procrastination because you may not want to complete a task, but you're purposely putting off that specific task and complete a different task.
During Year 12, I would always try to be a more of an active procrastinator. A good example of this was when I was too lazy to do my math homework (because math always takes up a significant portion of my study time) or if I was stuck on a question, I would put math aside and complete a task from a subject that had nothing to do with math, so physics was out of the question. I would complete a small portion of my Major Work, like reading and taking notes from a journal article. Although I'm purposely putting off my math homework, I'm at least being somewhat productive by completing a small portion of my Major Work.
I guess my point is that if you're really struggling to complete a task, try and do another task that's not too tiring so you can at least turn procrastination into a good thing.
Hope this helps!
