It's no secret I'm getting a dog and am stoked about it - I think about 98% of my conversations recently have revolved around it, so apologies to all who have had to deal with my excitement haha.

Here he is as a newborn.

I had another thread where I was looking for advice on what type of dog to get, but I want this thread to be a communal place or everybody and anybody to upload photos and videos of their pets. :D

So I have this pet peach face lovebird by the name of Pixie. Below he's in his second favourite spot (first favourite is that box on the left-hand side), curious as to why I was near him. He's pretty skittish, and he gets quite a temper when I/my parents don't give him sunflower seeds in his seed mix.

She is around 6 months old now. And the third pic was taken around a week ago.

We also have another black lab who is nearly 4 years old named Jingle (we got her from ‘santa’ and ‘Santa’ named her). I didn’t have any pics of just her without people.

Jazzy has been with us for almost 9 years now - she's turning 9 on the 21st of October this year, and we got her at 6 weeks old. She has the best temperament and constantly wants a cuddle, but she's Burmese so she talks a lot and I taught her to say 'hello' when she was a kitten so she constantly meows ('he-weow?') at 3AM in the hopes of being smuggled into either me or my sister's room haha.

Only when she sees ducks. I think she's got anatidaephobia.

edit: but never to people, ever. Only in play. Whenever guests come over she likes so sit on them, too.

Adorable 😍

My boyfriend has 2x 8ish year old cats (Oscar and Jet) and they're adorable. Oscar has an adorable little meow that he definitely uses to get food (as evidenced by his belly). Once he nipped my pants because I wasn't patting him enough lol. Jet is pretty quiet except for right before she jumps up on you, when she lets out a little "brrrrrp" and proceeds to purr like a chainsaw.
