Hello! I am genuinely curious how YOU found this site.

Was it through one of their awesome lectures, What convinced you?

Was it through a friend, What did they tell you?

Was it through Google? What were you trying to find?

So.... How did you?

This is kinda funny, and I may have mentioned this a few times before but I'll keep it short and sweet:
- A certain classmate of mine convinced about 20 of us to go to the January 2016 VCE lectures (A long time ago, I know :P )
- I hung around the forum for a bit
- Classmate finds me on the forum
- Now both of us are mods on the forum 8)

I was in year 10 choosing my vce subjects and I wanted to do accounting so i googled information on vce accounting and then found some great information on atar notes, which was how i first found atar notes. This happened in august 2016, it's now December 2017, wow time really does fly :)

My best friend saw the lecture series mentioned on Facebook. We were both keen to excel, so she booked us both tickets to the English lecture at UoM, where we saw Lauren give a top-notch lecture. From there, I started lurking the forum. After a year, I made an account and started posting occasionally. The community started to draw me in and now, well, here I am.

I think it must’ve been either 2013 or 2014 when I first came across the forums. No doubt, being the eager beaver I was, agonising over which VCE subjects to take, and all that jazz.

I definitely frequented the forums more regularly in 2014 because I was in Year 10 and taking a VCE subject. Still lurking at this stage because I didn’t feel like I belonged, I figured I was too young, I guess.

So, yeah, through Google, I guess.

Since Insanipi can't recall, I'll bite haha. I just told her that there's a company that do completely free lectures that go some of the VCE content, and that two dozen of us are going to try, get ahead of the pack, and try to break some school records.

It was around March this year when my friend told me that I could get free notes from the site so I immediately signed up. However, after downloading the notes I didn't go on the forums because I didn't realise they existed. It was during maths class in June when everyone kept talking about the free AN lectures for Trials and I got tickets to the Ancient and English ones. I remembered that Susie started her Ancient lecture with a meme and knew I had to venture the AN world further. Ever since, I've been on the forums ;D ;D
Which will hold greater rule over you? Your fear or your curiosity?

Please note that I am no longer active on the forums.

I think it was through both Facebook, google and lectures.

- I joined AN at the end of May to download Ancient notes for an assignment (and I didn’t really know/care too much about the forum).
- Saw the trial lectures advertised on Facebook and was thinking about going to Ancient/English but wasn’t too sure.
- Saw Susie at the Western Sydney Careers expo, and she was really enthusiastic/passionate about AN and history. Told/encouraged me to post on the History Extension debate thread. Made my first post two days later on the first post thread and then later posted on the debate thread.
- Went to the English, Ancient and Legal lectures and started posting a lot more afterwards.  ;D

I think I saw a post or an ad on Facebook about the lectures last year and went to Jamon, Elyse and Jake’s lectures. I went on the website when I got home because Brenden’s talks before each lecture were really convincing :p

I think it was back in Year 11 that I saw a Facebook ad for AN Revision lectures (the one before Head Start) and signed up for Maths, Legal, and Chem. Pretty sure the very first lecture I attended was Jamon’s 2U lecture and I really enjoyed the teaching style (especially Kahoot in Legal) so I was keen on attending more lectures. I didn’t discover the forums until early 2017 and my very first post was answering some guy’s maths or chem question because I didn’t want to study during my free period. Then I just hung around the Chem and Business forums.
