Music for Movies

Hello, is anyone able to refer me to a place that has music I can download, edit and use in my video? I get really confused with what the licensing and royalty jargon means. Is YouTube Audio Library suitable for what I want? THANK YOU VERY MUCH! :D

Try and find anything with a Creative Commons (CC for short) license. Plenty of artists release music under that license, which you can use however you like.
Alternatively, try taking a look around at bandcamp/soundcloud for some artists you might be interested in, and contact them about potential permission if you hear something interesting. I've obtained permission from a bandcamp artist to use their music in my film this year, and I think it's a great idea to try and do the same because you have the potential to put together something really unique and interesting!

Also, check out Incompetech - it's a huge library of royalty free music, some of which you may recognise but most of which rarely gets much use (perfect for you to make your movie sound unique!)

BenSound is another place that has royalty free music! There are some music on Youtube (not the library) that you can use but you'll just have to pay a licensing fee for it. They cost below $30 ish, depending on the composer and source.
Which will hold greater rule over you? Your fear or your curiosity?
