There was a question that was about breathing retraining and how you can use context-dependent cues to help someone remember the breathing technique.

Is it correct to say repeated pairing between the cockroach and the breathing technique, via systematic dessentisation, can help the dude remember the breathing technique every time he sees the cockroach? So then every time he saw the cockroach it acted as a retrieval cue for the desired info? I think I over thought it.

I said as the psychologist likely taught the dude breathing retraining in the presence of the cockroach, in future when he enounters this phobia the cockroach that is part of his environment will act as retrieval cue to aid his retrieval and execution of the breathing  technique

Oh man... That's so smart. I said he could use cologne while the psychologist was teaching to him so he could smell it on a hanky if he wanted to remember the instructions  HAHAHA

For Question 1. A Spinal Reflex is
I was stuck between B: A voluntary response to harmful stimuli
or
C: An automatic response that occurs in the spinal cord

I can't remember which one I went with, but I think I overthought it to much  :-[

for sure not B, a spinal reflex is not voluntary :-)

Spinal reflexes aren't voluntary, but seeing as you don't remember clearly which one you went with try not to think about it  as there's no way of knowing if you were right or not :)

In one of the last few short-answers they asked for a psychological intervention to help improve resilience. Is CBT one of them?? I completely blanked when they asked this haha

Does anyone remember what they put for Question 2?
It was about the labelled diagram and roles of each neural structure during neural transmission

Yea I kinda took internal to mean both skeletal and visceral rather than just visceral and chose A. But the thing is autonomic doesn’t initiate anything, it just regulates involuntary functions following brains directions so not too sure
