Denied entry into the Diploma of Languages?

Hey guys, the arts faculty emailed me this morning saying that I am not eligible to do the diploma of languages as I "have not met the eligibility requirements". Not entirely sure what this means as  doing a language at Monash was one of the main reasons I chose the uni. Is there any way I can appeal their decision? Thanks

Not sure about how to appeal the decision, but maybe you can ask for a reason why you weren’t eligible? Perhaps there’s a simple fix to that in which you’d become eligible to do the Diploma at a later date.

Turns out you need to complete 48 units and have a WAM greater than 60 to apply if you do eng.

Glad you found out and thanks for letting us know! A 60 WAM is certainly doable and you can certainly come back and apply once you’ve done the above.
