Title: someone please reply to this asap!!!
Post by: Kombmail on January 21, 2020, 12:37:53 pm
So at the moment my older sister may not be inclining towards a job and my parents need money. I wanted to pursue music studies but my mother is telling me to look at something that is more practical and gets you jobs. What should I pick for uni?

I'm kind of already doing music in the form of Hindi classical music as tuition. The offers I have gotten into are a bachelor of business/bachelor of branded fashion design ( which seems interesting), a bachelor of music at Macquarie university
and I may get into these two on the 23rd jan offer ( its in order of the 1st and 2nd choices I chose):
- bachelor of international studies / bachelor of business ( western Syd.)
- bachelor of accounting ( this requires an 80 in western I am a 75 atar person)

Someone please help me. I am confused.....

My mum told me that 'hobbies' and 'fun' should be set aside into diplomas at TAFE and actual degrees for jobs at uni.

Have a read through these posts that I have found on Quora, they might help you decide on what you should do at university (especially since these posts explain what people (that have had similar experiences to you) have done to get out of your situation).
