Introduction to AN's Textual Analysis Space

Hello all and welcome to the textual analysis hub for ATARNotes! It is hoped that this place will facilitate helpful and fruitful discussion that aids all in learning about and understand their English texts, as well as effectively analysing them. This is a place that will allow a lot of sharing of interstate resources and it is hoped that it will provide a space for lots of effective collaboration.

In this board, there are two main types of threads:
1. Textual Analysis Thread
2. Quote Banks

The textual analysis threads are places to consider the structure, themes, flow and analysis of texts. They are a great place to find and post notes and resources. The quote banks are a place where users can find and compile quotes by characters and themes in order to aid in essay writing.

A massive thanks to everyone who has contributed to making helpful posts and sharing resources thus far including:
- SlowandSteady
- K.Smithy
- The Mod Team (@BriMT for her help facilitating the creation of this, @literallylauren for her suggestions, ideas and insight).

There are also indexes in each English board that have links to all the threads relevant to specific subjects. They may be helpful when looking for specific threads or browsing texts for specific subjects.

Please enjoy and use this space! We look forward to seeing lots of discussion! ;D

Thank you for the mention & more importantly thank you Laura for the work you've put into this :D

I'm really keen to see how this develops & I'd love to see lots of people get involved in making new text threads; posting their thoughts, quotes, and resources; and in using this board as a resource for their studies.

This project has been driven outside of the mod team which just goes to show - as incredible as our mods are -  you don't need to be a mod to make a difference. K.Smithy, laura_ & SlowandSteady have put a lot of work into this so please give them those juicy upvotes.

Additional shout-out to J_Rho for independently coming up with the idea of threads for textual discussion & analysis :D
