Yeh i was confused aswell. When they asked about the camera angle, I thought the question was talking about viewing directly straight on, so that the illusion was maintained. otherwise if the camera angle or position changed then the trapezoid shaped room and disorted furniture would be noticed. I was confused

I said the camera had to be placed in a position where the room would still be perceived as rectangular.

yeh thats what i said too pretty much. i think the question is wierd as it says camera viewpoint
what does camera "viewpoint" mean ? lOl
i know a few people said, that it has to be in that position to maintain monocular cues or something along those lines. but it doesnt matter where it is placed becasue the camera will always be monocular cues as there is only one lens opening...won't it?

Yeah.
By my reckoning it wouldnt even need to be placed behind a peephole. If it was too far to one side though it would show the slope of the floor and reveal the other distortions.
