i know that a (relatively) large number of students who do umep math in year twelve do vector calc in first year sem1 (without having to go through the science student centre or anything) so im pretty sure theyre pretty lenient with the 50 points of study thing.
Really? The handbook seems to suggest that Calc 2 and/or AM2 are prerequisites, while UMEP only covers the Linear Algebra / AM1 prereq, unless I'm reading it wrong.
If this is the case, is there any chance I could do Vector Calc in semester 2? I have made the decision to do the accelerated track, so I'll have AM1 under my belt and I would be doing AM2 concurrently.
EDIT: I'm still struggling to find a semester 2 science elective, so this would be a godsend
