How to study for specialist 3/4?

So like I've been studying ahead of my classes but I feel like I'm not retaining 'all' the information when I revisit previous chapters. Some questions I still fail to do (despite doing all of them in the past). Is there a better way to study so I can retain information (like slowing down my pace or keep doing questions) or is this normal for a content heavy subject like spesh?

My recommendation would be to not study ahead of the class. I do see the benefit of studying ahead, but sometimes, you rush through content instead of learning it correctly. Not to mention, if you study ahead too quickly, when your teacher is delivering content during class you'll be really bored and class would be a complete waste of time. Personally, I would study at the pace of the teacher - unless your teacher is really slow and you're not going to finish all the content before the end of term three.

Continue revising content, dont just complete a topic and leave it for months. For most people you need to be revisiting topics regularly to form long term memories.
