Awesome! I honestly love playing town of Salem, it would be awesome if we could add more roles in later games (ie jester trying to get lynched or an executioner trying to get an inno lynched or a spy that can observe what happens at night, options are endless and it gets me excited haha)

Few questions though...

1) how many werewolf’s, seers and medics?

2) once we are dead, are we still allowed to discuss and PM? (If not we could include a role that could talk to dead!)

3) Do we have to lynch someone everyday or could we leave the stand empty?

4) Can the werewolves leave notes by the killed that survivors can read?

5) how will you pick who has what role? Random generator?

Count me in for this round though!!! whenever I play this game, it normally is just a guessing game and ends up in luck, especially when the seer dies, so I hope this develops into something epic! :))

Yeah I want to keep it super simple to begin with. If this works out well we can make it a little more complex

1) One quarter of the amount of players rounded down will be a werewolf. 1 seer and one medic

2) I think it is still ok to discuss if you are dead. Since unlike the IRL version the dead don't see everything going on. Maybe in another round we could include a role that can talk to the dead.

3) You do not have to lynch every day. You can also vote to leave the stand empty and if that has the most votes then no one in lynched.

4) I haven't heard of that but I think that is a good idea. :)

5) I will use a random generator to assign the roles so that there is no bias on my end.

Please continue to give suggestions. I haven't really ever played an online version but do have a lot of experience playing with friends IRL.

Thanks! I really look forward to future games, more people able to do stuff that don't include sitting like ducks (looking at you townies :P ) really makes the game more exciting!

Also! one more thing, do we start on the day phase or night phase?

Yeah same. I started thinking what roles we should use to begin with. But then I realized we should probably make it super barebones at least to start off with.

Starting with the night phase. Or else someone might just get pointlessly lynched the first day before anything happens. And that’s no fun.

Sounds like a great idea, techno! Hell, as I type this, I'm waiting in a ToS lobby with some friends haha. I won't have enough time for this round, but if enough people are keen, count me in for the uture!

Tomorrow morning I am going to assign each person their roles on my end and I will send them out around 7pm.

This is your last chance to join in for this game. :)

And we have begun:

I have used a random generator to assign roles and have PMed each of you with some instructions.

If you have not received a message let me know

The users playing are as follows:
insanipi
katie,rinos
secretly_a_poet
PhoenixxFire
Sine
Maya24
S200
Zeths
Jazcstuart
blasonduo
fun.jirachi

The roles are:
5 Villager
1 Joker (if they are voted off they win)
3 Werewolves
1 Seer (can work out what a person is)
1 Medic (can try to save the person the werewolves try to kill)

You are able to discuss anything going on and pretend to be any role.

If you have any questions feel free to ask :)

Around 7 pm tomorrow I will tell you who has been killed and instructions on how the day phase works.

But for now a lovely night sets on the peaceful town of ANville.
Good luck, try not to let the werewolves kill you...  ???

Any and all messages from me will be in red in the future.

EDIT: I have decided to add the joker in and have assigned one of the villagers as a joker. They want to be voted off. If the town votes to kill the Joker they immediately win and everyone else loses

Hello, werewolves.

I am a Villager, I am nothing important, do not waste your night killing me, because I am 100% not the seer, and most certainly not the medic. The important roles are definitely someone else, please don't kill me. I must stay alive for... reasons..

Boy do we have a few werewolves, I fear the safety of this town.

I'm actually so excited about this haha. I s2g if I get n1d i'm going to come back and haunt you all. I only wish I actually had an interesting role, alas I am stuck watching and hoping I do not get killed during the night, please spare me, the poor villager of no consequence.

There's no need for you to be afraid, the werewolves wouldn't kill one of their own.

Those of us who are actually just lowly villagers on the other hand, need to be terrified.

Pointing fingers already I see, won't it be a real coincidence when we're all dead and you're still here, The "villager".

In all honesty, don't you think its weird how it's always a full moon? Or are they actually not werewolves, but madmen in a costume?

I have to get my banter in before the werewolves kill me tonight (I hope not, that was not permission to kill me blasonduo) and reveal that I am indeed a villager

Actually @techno, are you going to reveal peoples roles when they die?

But if they are madmen then how are they killing people? Perhaps with guns? LIKE IN YOUR PROFILE PIC #confirmedwerewolf/madman
